Skills

Skills are tools for assistants, essentially predefined prompts that change the model's behavior during a conversation.

Skill Versions

  1. Standard prompt/instruction: Changes the model's behavior.
  2. Remote skill: Connected with external automation or custom script.
  3. Voice skill: Activated with a keyboard shortcut for audio responses.

Standard Skill

A standard skill modifies the model's default behavior or offers fixed information for specific tasks. For instance, a prompt that enhances text readability.

Remote Skill

Remote Skills generate structured formats like JSON objects, which can be sent to external services via no-code automation. For example, upon activation, a user can provide a command that will be converted into a JSON object.

Creating a Skill

  • Name: Should be easy to remember.
  • Main Prompt: This is the instruction of the skill, which extends the assistant's behavior, particularly for Remote Skills, which must return a response in JSON format.
  • JSON Mode: Enforces returning a JSON object, enhancing the likelihood of correct formatting.

Skills enable the assistant to adapt to various tasks, improve interaction efficiency, and facilitate user engagement seamlessly.
